Eric Law
ton is an award-winning fine art photographer, writer, and visual artist whose work has been exhibited and published throughout the world.

His art is in numerous private, corporate, and public collections including the Skirball Museum, the International Photography Museum, the New York Public Library, and France’s Bibliothèque Nationale.

Eric's exhibitions include Christie’s Beverly Hills; Bergamot Station Art Center; Louis Stern Fine Arts in Beverly Hills; Pacific Design Center; “Photo LA”: International Fine Art Photography Exposition; “Desert Presence" at John Nichols Gallery; Edition One Gallery, Santa Fe, New Mexico; California State University Art Gallery in Northridge, CA; "Photographs from Earth" at Los Angeles City Hall; "The Hidden Image" at Gallery at 817 in Los Angeles, “Off the Clock” by American Photographic Artists, the Stockholm Art Fair, Sweden, the Annenberg Space for Photography and "Event Horizon" at the House of Lucie Gallery in Los Angeles.

Eric’s multimedia theatrical work has included projects as diverse as photographic montages with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra at the Hollywood Bowl; "The Mythic Image," improvisational visual performances with poet Phil Cousineau and The Doors’ John Densmore; "Floating Stone," visual montages with the Hae Kyung Lee Dance Company at the Japan America Theater; and "Timeless Images of Israel," at the Thousand Oaks Performing Arts Center and the Wadsworth Theater in Los Angeles.

Eric's assignments have included The White House, the New York Times Magazine, Fortune, and Conde Nast Traveler. His works have been published worldwide, including Communication Arts, Fortune, the New York Times Magazine, American Photo, Popular Photography, Sierra Magazine, UCLA Magazine, Quick (Germany), Alitalia (Italy), Dukas Femina (Switzerland), U.S. Press WR (Austria), Gente (Italy), The World of Photography (China) and Le Nouvel Observateur (France).

His advertising clients include Citigroup, Motorola, Mazda, Prudential Investments, Princess Cruises, Merkley Newman Harty, and Ammirati Puris Lintas.

His stories have been published in anthologies. An excerpt from one of Eric’s writings was quoted by Susan Sarandon during the 75th Academy Awards.

His books of photographs include The Soul of the World (HarperCollins), The Soul Aflame (Conari Press), Timeless Images of Israel, featuring Eric’s photographs of Israel which were commissioned for Israel’s 50th Anniversary, and Event Horizon (Nazraeli Press).

Eric's portfolio, Event Horizon, was awarded First Prize for Book Projects at the Palm Springs Photography Festival and was exhibited at the Annenberg Space for Photography. It is now Eric’s latest book, Event Horizon, published in 2019 by Nazraeli Press, which received the International Photography (IPA) Award for fine art photography books.

Eric serves on the Board of Directors of American Photographic Artists (APA) – Los Angeles. He is listed in Who’s Who in America (Marquis Publishing) and is the recipient of numerous awards, including the International Photography (IPA) Awards, American Photo Magazine's Photo Annual Award, First prize in Sierra Magazine's International Photography Contest, Advertising Photographers of America Judge's Selection Award, American Photographic Artists’ Curator’s Choice Award, and Communication Arts’ Award of Excellence.
